Nursing mamas??

How is it going for you now? I'm 30 weeks, DS still nurses 2-3 times a day, things haven't changed that much for us since the last time we discussed it here. I'm more certain now that we'll make it through to tandem, I'm a little unsure about how it will go but willing to go into it with an open mind and heart. I know he is not ready to wean, and once I get milk I think he'll be pretty happy and surprised.

still nursing here (at 28 1/2 weeks), usually about 2 or 3 times (nap, bedtime, and in the morning) a day, as well. i didn't nurse DS last night because of my trip to L&D, though i felt bad, but my mom said he went down okay with a bottle of soymilk. i still don't have much there for him (though colostrum has started to come in, so it's a little better these days!), so sometimes it's quite uncomfortable. i'm looking forward to my milk coming in! i'm hoping we get to experience tandem nursing.

I'm 28 weeks and pretty sure we'll make it through. Colostrum is def. here as he has been wanting to nurse more. He nurses about 3 times a day. I can't wait for my milk to come in. I have felt kind of bad for depriving him of momma's milk.

29 weeks still nursing. although my nursling is turning a year and is too busy to really nurse during the day. i'm really hoping that once baby gets here she starts nursing more. i think my colostrum has come in because she hasn't had a solid poo in a while and her poo doesn't seem to smell anymore.... but who knows.

I'm 28wks now and we're still going strong. Dd nurses in the early morning, down for nap and down for bed, plus at least once at night. Sometimes (like yesterday and today) she'll nurse several times in the morning between wake up and nap time.

I have to put a limit to it or else I am in so much pain. Sometimes it's limited to under 2 minutes and sometimes it's 20 minutes. Just depend on my pain tollerance at the time.

I have no doubt we'll be tandem nursing. There is no way my booby baby will stop.

30 weeks and DD is nursing 1-2 times in 24 hours. I think we will make it. I know I must have something in there but I haven't seen it last time I leaked like a mofo but this time since DD is draining me 1-2 a day I don't see anything

DD still nurses for a few secondes at nap and bedtime. On the days she doesn't nap she only nurses for a few seconds at night. I have really limited her but she hasn't seemed to mind too much. I will be interested to see if she completely weans or not. She says that she will share her "nonnies" with the new baby.

I am 31 weeks today and still nursing my 32 month old. Colostrum is definitely in and I have been leaking alot. I was jut wondering this morning what it will be like to nurse dd in the morning. She usually gets out of her bed and joins me to nurse but soon I will have a baby in with us too! I wonder if that will discourage her from nursing since she will have to wait sometimes.

Sammy is still nursing but usually only in the a.m. when he wakes and before nap. DH usually puts him to bed at night so he doesn't nurse then. I think he will tandem, though.

We are still nursing, and like others more than before. I am 30 weeks and Maya is 3 years old. She was down to once a day but has got up to 5 or 8 depending on our schedule. You know how it is more if we are home chillin` and less if we are out and about. She had 3 poos today so must be getting something. I know we will tandem nurse and we talk about how Baby Emma will need lots of milkies because that is all she can eat/drink and how she will share the milkies with Maya. I assure her that she can always have milkies, but sometimes she might have to wait.
