Publix cashier!

With 5 children, we go to the grocery store quite often. We were there on Monday for weekly shopping. Miss Cynthia was working at the register next to ours, but she had no customers, so she helped me out with my 3 children who were with me and a BIG buggy of groceries. Samuel, my 19 month old had a yucky eye.

I battled the pink eye with BM for 3 days, but it didn't improve. I went in today to fill the porescription for a couple of things, and Miss Cynthia checked us out today. She said Samuel's eye looked much better. I told her I had gotten some medicine for it. She said," You know what works best? Titty milk." I said," I know! I just got his prescription filled today. His eye looks better because I have been squirting him!"

A little advocacy from my friendly Publix checker!

That is great!

Back a few years ago when my kids had pinkeye, I called a guy at church who is a Dr. (natural minded) and I mentioned I was using b-milk. He said that was the best thing, and offered a script for abx drops if I wanted to try those in addition, but it was usually viral. I did get the drops just in case, but they did NOTHING so I think it was indeed viral. Learned my lesson, won't waste the $$ on drops if we get pinkeye again.

Yah I was really surprised when my mother-in-law asked if I could express a little bit of breastmilk for her when she was having eye probs.

Guess me and my MIL actually agree on something!

Yeah, I love Publix.

DH and I met there 8 years ago, we were both cashiers.
