With 5 children, we go to the grocery store quite often. We were there on Monday for weekly shopping. Miss Cynthia was working at the register next to ours, but she had no customers, so she helped me out with my 3 children who were with me and a BIG buggy of groceries. Samuel, my 19 month old had a yucky eye.
I battled the pink eye with BM for 3 days, but it didn't improve. I went in today to fill the porescription for a couple of things, and Miss Cynthia checked us out today. She said Samuel's eye looked much better. I told her I had gotten some medicine for it. She said," You know what works best? Titty milk." I said," I know! I just got his prescription filled today. His eye looks better because I have been squirting him!"
A little advocacy from my friendly Publix checker!

Yah I was really surprised when my mother-in-law asked if I could express a little bit of breastmilk for her when she was having eye probs.
