Okay - well, maybe "bottomless" was the wrong word given my pants size lately
I'm trying to gently lose my pregnancy weight, but I can't stop eating. My little girl nurses around the clock - and she has started nursing longer. I remember this feeling from nursing DS. I can literally be hungry ten minutes after eating a meal. Tonight I had a nice balanced dinner. While I was putting the dishes and leftovers away half an hour later, I grabbed a spoon and ate just about all the left over rice. It is a really strong hunger, and it drives me nuts. I can't count all the snacks I've had today (though I try to keep to things like nuts, fruit, etc, there are still christmas cookies popping up around the house that I have to resist).
Anyone else feel like they are eating all the time? What are your tips for snacking and controlling the hunger? Are there any magic foods that curb the breast-feeding hunger (oatmeal, rice??) Just had to vent...

I have to eat quite a bit at each meal, something heavier, a big bowl of yogurt just doesn't cut it.
). Sometimes I get a craving to eat a whole plate full of vegetables.

: I had salmon, rice, and peas for dinner - plus a bowl of cherries, countless snacks, etc...I am glad I'm not the only one! Both girls have been sick and wanting to nurse like crazy so I am a milk factory right now...maybe I should go eat something else!
