We have been using a very lightweight backpack for ds (Evenflo I think?), which has worked great up until now. We mainly use it around the house or neighborhood walks, and occasional longer hikes. But it doesn't have really good strap cushioning, and now that he's bigger and heavier (almost 2yo, about 25lbs), it cuts into my shoulders. I don't think it has the greatest weight distribution features either - when he looks to the side around my head all his weight shifts to one side, which hurts my neck after about 20 mins or so.
So we need a new backpack. We don't need a serious, heavyduty, serious hiker backpack, but one that is well padded, fairly light, and easy to get on and off. And I really like having the kickstand feature (do all of them have this?) because it helps me get it on and off when I'm by myself.
Which ones do you like, or not like, and why?

That was the best one by far!
