Just sort out of curious

Not out of fear, or even complaint.. Does anyone know if my baby estimated too weigh 2pounds6ounces at 26wks, what would he weigh NOW at 30wks?

This pregnancy is so very different from my last 3. I am in bigger clothes this time early on, and my tummy feels strethced too the limit. I normally feel like this around 38wks.. My last 2 babies were 6/5 and 6/11.. I guess part of me is hoping for a meatier baby, does this make me sound awful? I PROMISE I am not complaining about my size, but I do wonder if I could possibly stetch anymore then I already have

My Dad even commented too me today *again* about my size. Just mentioning how I actually LOOK big this time, as opposed too Maddy and Nic. I agree with him

In my last 2 pregnancies I never LOOKED PG.. The clothes I wore hid it well, I just looked like I had gained 10 pounds.. I cannot hide this belly.. I always wanted too have ONE of those big bellies, looks like I got my wish.. I really do love it, but I am very curious as too what he may weigh now..I forget how much they gain, and at what rate. ANyone know this ?

I think 2-6 sounds a couple weeks ahead at 26 weeks to me. If baby is still meauring a couple weeks larger at 30 weeks, then I'm going to make an amatuer guess that baby is around 4 lbs. My babe is meauring a couple weeks ahead as well, and at 31 weeks last week was around 4.5lbs. I guess it's not going to encourage you to say that my first one was born at 10lbs, huh? LOL - well this one seems just a hair smaller than her to me anyhow. And babies can grow in spurts, not always nice even curves, so who knows where this one will end up? Healthy, I hope =D

I think they gain 4-8 oz/week, and then at 36 weeks start gaining at least 8oz/week. This babe was estimated 4lbs 2 oz at 31.3 weeks, and I was measuring 33 weeks.

LOL, I called her pumpkin face the day she was born. It's a darn good thing I had a name picked in advance or it might've stuck

about 3 pounds at 30 weeks.

(U/S estimates of baby weights are almost always wrong, BTW)

My daughter was born at 33 weeks and weighed 4 pounds 1 ounce. The US earlier that day estimated her at 4 pounds (give or take 11 ounces, they told me). She was relatively small for gestational age, but not abnormally small. She most likely would have been a 6 1/2 or 7 pound baby full term. So I'd say that between 3-4 pounds would be a reasonbable estimate for a 30 week baby.

I was just surfing one of the boards I used too visit, and saw that one of the ladies there was rushed too the hospital at 28wks due too placental abruption... Her baby weighed 3pound 3 ounces, that is pretty good weight for that gestation yes? I am going too go see if there are any update on her and her son.

Yes, 3lbs is the average typical weight at 30 weeks I believe, so pretty good sized at 28! I hope baby's outcome is well )

For what it is worth.... I'm 27 weeks 3 days and was told today that I measure at 28 weeks 1 day. Babe is estimated at 2 pounds 10 ounces. I too believe the baby is expected to gain about 4-6 oz per week from this point forward.

How funny what we call our kids, my son was 7 lbs 9 oz and he was so skinny my husband called him chicken legs for the first two weeks.
