Where to find dried lavender?

I'm pretty much a novice at all this!

I've read lots about those little bags with rice or flaxseed and dried lavender, and I'd love to try making some for Christmas gifts.

Where can I find the lavender? TIA

San Francisco Herb and Tea (www.herbspicetea.com) has a pound for $6.95. Lots of other good stuff there too. Minimum $40 order, but if you commit the cash you end up with tons o' good stuff really, really cheap.
