This was my first month too and I earned $130 just doing freebies. I'm also half way to getting an ipod nano at Ipod Sweepstakes. I need to get a credit card so I can start doing the trials. I am drooling over those LOL.

When it comes to entering surverys and other freebies on sites to be able to get credit what do you do so you can get 'automatic credit'.

I can't use GMAIL accounts since my txt thing was blocked.

Anyways, what i have 'noticed for anything I sign up for it only is successful when I use a different email addy ?

So I was wondering if you have any other advice on that ?

How do you guys find the best way to get 'referrals ' for your sites ?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Since I'm the only one Loser enough to be on MDC at 1 am on January 1, I started the new thread.

Here it is:http://www.mothering.com/discussions...22#post6886422

I just copy and pasted freespiritmomma's usual introduction (and added a link to this thread) since it has the basic info in it.

I'm excited to start a new year of this and tackle doing taxes on it.

See you there!

I'm doing four separate programs, but the majority of my earnings this round were on cashduck. Does anyone else find that they stick primarily with one site? I seem to get the most survey approvals on Cash Duck.

Can anyone give any hints and tips on building a referral base? I earned $13 this month on referrals, and I'd like to up that. I did a webpage of hints and tips on my website, but beyond that, I don't really have any ideas on how to get the word out to people in a way that isn't spam.

I am mostly on cash duck too. I have been trying hard on DBP, but I wish they showed your totals up in the right hand corner like at CD. I Started in Dec, and earned a total of about $230 on just surveys. I think this is awesome, and i plan on doing trials in Jan.

I used the free version. Then I ended up buying it -it's so useful. Make sure you buy the licence on a GPT site. I think I got $4 on DBP for it.

I asked this question of another site owner and she said it is still true that you are only supposed to do them once (through a GPT site).

Hello Everyone,
I didn't get much done this month and had trouble cashing out at DBP, but what I have earned since I began in mid-October is $935 approximately: $439 from DBP, $$351 at Cashduck (late Nov. thru mid Dec.) and $145 at MPC (started there late Nov.). Both trials and freebies worth of $$, but I didn't really start hitting the freebies again til early Dec. when I realized Cashduck was approving all my Win surveys. That was exciting. Im hoping this happens again this month.

I am approved of 6 out of 10 offers on a diy site (the $1000 visa gc) and was wondering how the mamas doing this feel about the offers there. Im having trouble picking out ones I feel I can do. I know if you refresh the link a few times, some offers will change, but I've done a few already at a gpt site, so I can't consider them. Since I haven't been doing this long, it makes me wonder how people who have done a lot of offers are able to do these as well.

Anyway, hope everyone had a great time over the holidays. I had my Christmas party and everyone was already in the house by the time I came out of the shower (5 minutes before the scheduled time for the event). Im not used to people being on time (my dh side of the family).

Im focusing on trying to consistantly hit a certain number each month- at least $600 a month. There are a few refunds Im trying to get from trials though. Efax charged me the full $179.50 last month and the supervisor told me the $169.5 (minus $10 activation fee) would be reversed, but it hasn't happen yet. They tried to say I didn't actually do a trial and I know I did (it was pretty obvious on the site-big red or yellow button that said trial) and Im hoping they don't try to argue with me about this again. Anyway, a few mistakes like this can mess with your credit card. I have been using my regular card instead of a visa gc. because I felt the limit was reached way too fast with all the 16 holds that come up and I didn't want to be denied because of this. There have been a couple of other "mistakes" made by companies, but they all worked with me on the charges. I don't use the card for anything else.

Seem to be a lot of computer related problems for a few mamas. Hope you get them straighten out soon.

Happy 2007 to all

I also bought referrals from CashDuck. Some of them are working and some are just sitting in there. Maybe you're right, might be a matter of luck.

I probably won't upgrade at DBP too. Am still earning though. Not much, but enough.

I need some clarification about doing offers twice. Obviously I wouldn't intentionally repeat or attempt to repeat an offer but if I did accidentally what would happen. I would never be able to use that site again??? What???

Also, how have you claimed your earnings on your taxes???

Thread Starter
Once you reach $600 on a site (on some sites it's $400).. then you have to submit a signed and completed W9 form. The site will no longer pay you if you don't send this in. At the end of the year the site will send you a 1099 form showing your yearly earnings and a copy sent to the IRS. There is no getting around this.

If you repeat an offer.. even by accident.. the site *can* close your account and all earnings will be forfeited. It's really up to the site owner but this is taken very seriously. There is little room for "oops I goofed". You *must* keep up with your offers and do not repeat them.

hope this helps
