This may sound strange, but ive never gotten on well with Leo's.. im a pisces and all of the relationships i've had with Leo's have gone from bad to worse.. i dont hold much faith in astrology, its more of a fun thing for me.. but in terms of describing myself i would say im Very pisces! my dp is a libra (and fits the description to a T), my son is a capricorn and my daughter is a sagittarius (she was supposed to be a scorpio..and i was worried about that too!)
anyone else? or am i being totally silly (especially seeing as im not even 100% sure im pregnant..)
my EDD would be around the 3rd of august based on the first day my last period..

My son's name is Leo, and he is a Taurus. @ a bull named lion. Maybe this child will be a lion named bull - Taurin is a cool name.

just jumping in to say that I'm a leo and I'm a very nice person. I'm calm, chill, giving. Definitely not loud and brash like the leo stereotype. So you might end up with a good one!

i hope i didnt offend you! i was just making an observation about my life.
maybe i will be lucky, or maybe growing up in a good home with a loving family makes more of a difference than astrological signs (hopefully!)

I'm an Aries (fit that one to a T, if I do say so myself ) and one of my best friends is a Leo and she is honestly one of the most kindest, thoughtful, generous people I have ever met.

Don't forget all signs have their good points and not so great points and as the childs mother, you have the ability to build on the strengths of their personality and their signs (sun signs, moon signs etc). I'm not an expert in astrology, but I do believe in astrology and there is more to just the birth month.

HTH!

My oldest is a leo born aug. 10. She's very sweet and much more timid than my youngest. She's very caring. Although she does tend to be dramatic about things. I welcome another leo after my wild child Sagittarius.

i was looking it up and found this description...from..http://www.angelfire.com/in/RajunasRefuge/signs.html

LEO

Descriptors: The Performer. The King or Queen, The Child, The Creative Artist, The Lover, The Actor or Actress
KeyWords: Vitality, Confidence, Self-Expression

Warm, loving, and generous, Leo have big hearts. Their kind and magnanimous gestures come from a love of the dramatic, as Leos play to the crowd and feel happiest with an appreciative audience. Although they capture center stage, Leos are also attentive to others. They readily show their appreciation and approval of others. Ruled by the Sun, Leos possess a loveable, childlike playfulness, and a strong need for creative self-expression. They see themselves as leaders, and be struggle with vanity and pride.

They have a hard time admitting they were wrong, and are susceptible to flattery. They compensate though, with their sunny personality, sense of fun, and generosity. These friendly and gregarious people are ideal partners for social events, parties, theater, and long holidays. Their desire to shine combined with their royal commanding air, brings Leos naturally to positions of authority, where they can display their remarkable leadership skills. They take charge naturally. Some may accuse them of taking over, and being too bossy. They will work extremely hard to live up to their responsibilities, and make excellent managers and leaders. Leos who do not fulfill their natural potential may fall into idleness and lose their spirit.

They are known for their courage and dislike being considered weak and defenceless. Even under a facade of modesty, their regal dignity shows through. They presume everyone has the same sense of integrity as they have, and they maintain their sense of self-respect even in disagreements with others. Leos want others to think well of them, and are very aware of the impression they make on others.

They can be lively and enthusiastic yet stubborn. Their creativity and sense of drama combine to make them great romantics. Leos love to love and be loved. No matter where you meet them, their sunny personalities will make a lasting impression.

Having my due date so early in the month, it could go either way. Cancer or Leo. I'm a Libra, so I can bend. I'm happy with whatever. DH is a cancer and my SIL is a Leo, it seems like this baby could be really influenced by his side. I understand what you mean though, I know some Leo's with very strong personalities and it's kind of intimidating.
I always wondered can you do a birth chart ahead of time?

I'm not so much worried about the Leo I'm bringing in to this world as I am how my two Scorpio kids will handle it... I'm pretty sure my Capricorn will be fine with it, but my two Scorpios constantly fight to stay in the spotlight as it is.

She was born at the end of May. My sig just means that she was born in May of '05. Is that still a Taurus?

Silly me... I read it wrong... guess I should have asked first. Gemini runs May 21-June 20.

Cool thanks!

Not in your ddc but I am pg with a Gemini and AFRAID of that! I Leo would be cool for us (I am cancer\leo, ds is leo, dh is Taurus) - Geminis are the sign I fear most! I guess I am being given an oppurtunity to change my view of Geminis!

Ehehehe..
Im not part of you DDC but I had to chime in on this..
I have one child and she is a Leo. She is a classic Leo.
Its tough now but I know that I will enjoy seeing her in action later on in life...I know she wont take any crap THATS for certain!
Im a Virgo and I have a really hard time with her. My dh is a Scorpio and they are interesting to watch together..
Good luck to you..
Oh and I have to add that every Leo Ive EVER known had had GREAT hair. Its known as the lions mane...

Well I'm a "wild sagittarius" kid so I get along great with most Leos That said, I was terrified about having a Virgo when I was pg w/ ds, but he is loads of fun and I think the universe is trying to show me that virgos can be good for me. If anything, he will balance me out as he grows (and hopefully will pick up the slack on my disorganized messy packratness ).

I'm actually hoping for a leo, but if I'm late enough (dd2 was induced w/ castor oil at 42 weeks to preserve her homebirth) it might switch over. That being said, I'm not going to induce for ANYTHING this time around!!

I don't think a Virgo would do well in our messiness !

I have been reading this thread chuckling My ds is a Leo and I was afraid too. I am an Aries and I have to admit we mutually combust at times (ask dh ) BUT, he is also all of those wonderful things....smart, generous, loves life and is happy...truly a joy. Yes, he can be loud at times...we are working on that. It's a challenge for me to help him control himself a bit because I don't want to 'break his spirit'. He has beautiful long blonde hair

Good luck! Keep us posted
