My Nana is gone

She (my nana, my dads mother) passed in her sleep last night. She just turned 91 Nov. 19th. That was the last time I saw her. (we live a few counties away, its hard to travel with a 13 month old) I normally saw her atleast once a month. I am so upset. I knew it was coming, I am suprised she made it this long. Her health was failing for quite some time, but her mind was very sharp. We were very close for my whole life. I know its the cycle of life, but it still hurts so much. : My dd is playing with a balloon from her b-day party right now. It hurts just to see the ballon.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter how old a loved one may be; death still hurts.

I am so sorry, Mama. A day does not pass that I don't think of and miss my Gram. She passed 2 years this coming Jan. She was 86 and we knew she would be leaving us soon, but there is never, ever enough time. And we have never had life without them until now. I am so sorry for your loss of your Nana.
Many to you and many moments of peace and healing.
