Full Moon Tomorrow...

Anyone counting on this to help move you along? Is there a special dance to do under the moon?

I need a sign...something needs to start coming out of there...mucus plug, water, baby...something! This is going to be a very long week...

Oh I am so with you...

I'm planning on seriously taking a walk under the full moon, be it 5 degrees here or not. I doubt it will really effect me since I'm so used to artificial lights, but maybe the pull of gravity is really the effect.

I'm due on Wednesday. I have cramps all the time- I feel like I've been on a bad period for almost 4 weeks now. I'm more than ready for this little one and I just wish it would decide to come!

My dd was born with the coming of the full moon, so I have high hopes for today!!!! I wish there was some dance I could do to make this kid come out!!

I'm bundling up and making DH walk by the beach with me. I figure with the moon and all that tidal activity something is bound to happen. (wishful thinking? )

My dh is concerned about this full moon! He has way too much going on at work this week for this baby to be born now...so of course he's freaking out about the full moon and all of that.

Whatever. If she comes now, or closer to her due date (which is only 2 weeks away), we'll deal.

Here's hoping that the full moon brings good labor mojo to those of you ladies who are looking for a little assistance!

I talked to my mw about this at our last visit & she said she doesn't really see a lot of mom's going into labor when there's a full moon. Her theory was that we don't live by the light of day/night anymore & that artificial light interfere's with our bodies ability to distinguish day & night like it used to when there was no electricity. She said it much better than I could, but that's the gist of it.

Either way, I'm very interested in seeing who has their babies tomorrow or the next day!

After struggling to get PG, I spent the first 7-8 months praying that I would carry this baby to term...who knew my prayers would answered so literally...I have an appt tonight, we'll see if I am any further along than 70% effaced and a fingertip dilated...

I'm so ready to meet my little man!!!!

my mom beleives in that full moon stuff, although it didnt work with my son, hubby doesnt even realize theres a full moon just today hes been going on about me going into labor and that im nesting etc lmao. i dunno if i beleive any of it though but eh keep our fingers crossed lol, the night comes faster here im 6 hrs ahead of the east coast in the us hehe. but ugh i gotta go change a lil stinkys diaper the poo smell is making me want to puke

Hubby and I took our walk, I had a couple of interesting cramps, but that was it. I think she needs a couple more weeks to cook.

Has anyone heard if the new moon has any effect? That's right around my due date

I think it would be groovy to deliver tonight at the full moon- I'd even turn off all the lights and open my blinds to my big window next to my tub- labor by the light of the moon. You can bet I'll be out there soaking up the rays anyway, despite the cold!
