Four months stats?

Can we have a seperate thread to post the babe's four month stats in? Please? I love stats, I don't know why, I'm just wierd like that!

Eloise doesn't go in for her appt until the 14th, however, so I'll be posting hers then.

12 lbs, 12 oz, 23 1/4 in, and I think she produces her weight in drool every day!!

She has almost doubled her birth weight, I thought for sure she would have by now at the rate she's growing!

We had to reschedule Liam's 4 month appt, but he was over 20 pounds at his 2 mopnth appt. He doubled his birthweight of 9 lbs, 10 ounces before 2 months.

Yep exclusively bf. My daughter was off the charts too, but slightly smaller than my baby.

I've been freakishly obsessed with Liam's weight gain for a while now! I'm just in awe!

Hehe. I can't wait to get his weight checked again.

His weight must have slowed down now. He was gaining a pound a week for a while. He has been in 6-12 month clothes for a while.

yeah, i was going to ask about that... did his sis have a huge gain at the beginning & then tapered off? is she still big for her age?

Yeah my dd was the same- off the charts for the first few months, then slowly fell down the charts- 97th, 95th, 90th, etc.

At her 2 year doctor visit last March, she was in the 50th percentile for weight and 90th for height. Once she got mobile, she slimmed down a whole lot. I expect Liam will be similar.

Wow, Liam is a big boy!

So, for those other mamas with big babies, are they all roly-polies? Will isn't. I totally expected lots of fat rolls and places to squeeze. Instead, he's like this incredibly fit, muscular baby. He's a big guy, for sure, but very compact and not roly-poly at all.

Yeah Liam isn't as roly poly as one might expect. He is just giant. He has a bunch of chins and a giant bum, but no rolls or anything. My cousin had a baby ten years ago and he wasn't bigger than Liam, but had rolls and rolls.
