Having an unfinished list of "to do's" isn't such a bad thing

At least it's giving me something else to focus on other than the impending birth of this babe. I've decided this baby can't come until next week at the earliest. There's too much to do!!

I still have:
  • an (almost) untouched belly cast to finish for a lady
  • at least a dozen hand & foot castings to be done
  • at least a half dozen hand & foot castings that need to be finished
  • visit some ladies from church
  • get passports for everyone
  • finish up this month's bills
  • pack a bag for the kids for when I go into labor (in case I decide I want them to go somewhere)

I'm sure there's more I haven't thought of yet. What do you have left to do on your "list"?

My gosh, my to-do list just grows daily instead of shrinking.

~ Attach the co-sleeper to our bed... It's all put together and sitting in the dining room!
~ Pick up a few more supplies.. tarps, etc... for the birth. Oh and the HOSES I keep forgetting!
~ Our tub gets here tomorrow, so then... set it up!
~ I'm writing out a list/letter to the baby of things that were happening in the world and in our lives in 2006... and I'm still working on it
~ Set up the spare bed for birthing "just in case" I wind up birthing there (which I won't, but ok, just in case).
~ Finish laundering my CPF's and find the darned bag of snappi's I bought which are... *somewhere*...
~ Figure out how to use and install the car seat!

I think those are the only really important things, although if I were really motivated I'd paint some walls! I am not that motivated! : Our house still has bare drywall in some places from where we did a remodel... and the bedrooms really need to get done. And it would've been so nice to do it pre-baby, but... ummm.. yeah, just not happening.

I'm a first time mama so hopefully baby will take her time and let me get ready for her!

Holy Cow, i have just about everything left to do...

-clean apt.
-wash baby clothes
-wash diapers
-finish putting together homebirth 'things to have'
-make recieving blankets
-make washcloths/wipes
-set up a 'baby area' (change station/clothes etc...)
-get and install car seat

probably more that I can't remember.
I wish the whole nesting thing would kick in, but somehow I don't think it's going to happen.
Wish me luck!

I still have to get abassinet lmao
well we have a playpen but it doesnt have the bassinet attachment because i think we are missing pieces from the move.
my hospital bag is half packed , my sons isnt packed at all, and the new babys hers is prety much packed i might throw in some more warm stuff . i gotta put all the baby clothes away again since i washed them already.
i still need to buy blankets, having a hard time finding warm baby blankets that arent for a crib here. wash bottles . i still need baby towels for baths i gave all mine away. i feel like i have alot left undone but i dunno what everything feels unfinished and that i have so much to do but eh we are ready for the baby pretty much i think for the most part, its just alot easier getting ti done before they are here

Oh my gosh...so many things to do (which is good...it will keep me busy and not thinking about when the baby is coming!)

- still waiting on the hose that I bought on amazon for the birth pool...then we need to set up the pool and give it a test run
- waiting on a package from the states of the rest of my newborn diaper stash (including dipes, wipes, wet bags, and my moby wrap)
- need to wash those dipes once they arrive
- need to figure out how to use all my slings and wraps (I have a new native, a moby and an ellaroo)
- Freezer is being delivered on Thursday (I can't believe I have gone 2 1/2 months without a freezer!!) Our apartment didn't come with a freezer and the landlord has been saying they will drop it by for the past month and a half...but once the freezer is delivered, I need to...
- COOK food to freeze! I am a vegan and my DH does not cook much or well (although I am trying to teach him), also my mom who is coming to help out for a few weeks does not approve of my vegan diet, so I want to make sure I have lots of stuff that can just be popped in the oven, so I don't have to worry about suitable food for a while.
- Need to pack a bag for the hospital just in case I need to be transferred into the hospital.
- Need to pay all the bills ahead of time so I can forget about it all for awhile
- Need to address Christmas cards and buy stamps so they are ready to send
- and if time allows I am trying to set up drafts of emails and phone lists for DH so he knows who he needs to call and so he can email a birth announcement after the baby is born without too much hassle.

I think that is it....

My list is getting shorter, actually - but I've been freakishly productive lately, thanks to nesting!
It's a good thing too because today I feel TOTALLY exhausted

I just have to clean out our entrance/storage area, maintain the house, and maybe cook a few more meals. I have everything I *need* for baby at this point, minus a few diaper covers, and I have everything for the birth! Yay!

I really just need to install the carseat and set up the cosleeper.. Other than that I have some more washing of bedding I would like to do and finish raking the leaves that I started working on yesturday. I am pretty much ready, but there is always something else. Every day that passes brings more laundry and messes.

In the last week I have gotten the Christmas cards addressed and signed, all the bills written out, bags packed, etc.

My list is still quite long and now I'm on bedrest so I hope I can kick DH into high gear tonight!

- attach the co-sleeper
- pack the hospital bag
- make final decisions about names
- put the babies stuff in the dresser
- set up the diaper changing station
- and I'm sure there are a million different things I can't even think of

cpop, your post reminded me of something important...come up with a name for this baby! We don't even have a short list for a girl. NOTHING. If it's a boy he's got a first name, we think, but that's it.

Guess that's on my to-do list

Not much left. I suppose I should do christmas cards but just don't feel like it.

I have a feeling I have a few more weeks though.... I'm going nuts!!!!

I'm ready. Diapers are washed. Christmas shopping done (and all is wrapped). Christmas cards ready except for picture of all kids we plan on adding. Freezer is full, pantry stocked. I just have to wait for baby to come! I'm actually kinda bored

I've been working like crazy to get my list done. So far, all that is left to do is a bunch of last minute appts (hair cut, meet friends for lunch, massage, chiro, etc.). There are a couple of bigg-ish house things we are working on, but I'm not really required for them (pressure wash the deck, re-seal it, touch-up paint the halls & living room, etc.).

I've just put the christmas cards in the mail, have everything bought (I think!) and wrapped, and did some stocking up on basics today. Luckily, my mom will be in town and is taking over meals, b/c my freezer isn't big enough to store too much...

Oh - I am still waiting on some CDs in the mail that I'll need to wash and prep - but I've got some sposies to tide me over till I get those figured out (I'm a newbie to cloth!)
