My hair's falling out!

Anyone else? I just started noticing this this week. Maybe I didn't brush my hair much until this week Anyway, I know it's normal, but I was kinda expecting it closer to the birth and not 10 weeks later... I totally fill up my brush each time I brush my hair!

oh me too, it's absolutely out of control!!!! i keep clogging the shower drain!

i think it's normal when the babes get to be about 3 months. isa's hair is starting to fall out too!

Mine started right around when dd was 3 mos and it is breathtaking. Every time I take a shower and brush my hair, I feel like half of it's fallen out. Fortunately dd does not let me shower or brush my hair too often. Thank goodness I was warned this would happen or I would be convinced I was very ill...

yeah me too... i loved only loosing a few hairs a day when pg....this is way normal for me but i had forgotten how my hair sheds and catches on EVERYTHING!! i loose 10x as much hair a day than when pg. my mom thinks theres something wrong since i hold onto hair but i don't know. do you loose as much hair even after years of not being pg?

Ha, I was just coming to post and see if this was happening to anyone else yet! I had totally forgotten about this but remember now how horrified I was when this happened with ds1. Crazy, crazy amounts of hair in the shower....

Yep, me too. It happened after DD1 was born too. It sucks! It took so long for my hair to be normal again after DD1, and just when it was starting to look right again, I got pregnant with DD2. *sigh* That reminds me...I need a haircut.

Haha hasn't happened to me yet, DD was 2 months just the other day. Although I remember after my Mother had my sister (Whos now almost 6) I was 15 and her hair started falling out, and I was sooo stressed my hair started falling out too, and we both had such long hair (Mine was down to my waist - Well still is) our poor shower had to be unclogged every second day!!! It was so gross! I'm not looking forward to it happening to me!!!

Oh yes! I've got little furries in the shower and it's nasty! I was warinng a friend the other day that I was sorry in avance for clogging her vacuum

At least those with girls don't have to worry what dangly bits the stray ones are going to wrap around ...

I'm molting, too. Makes me want to lose the length so it's easier to deal with, but then I can't braid or pin it back ....

oh but we still have fingers and toes! isa went into a hysterical meltdown the other night after we got her out of the shower. she was screaming more than i have ever seen before. and after totally undressing her and checking every part of her body (she was clearly in pain and i had NO idea why or what to do), i found the culprit... a strand of hair wrapped around her little finger... it was turning purple! who knew hair could be so painful? my ped warned us about this and i thought she was crazy. i am now a believer: hair hurts apparently!

Late to view this thread, but I had to chime in. I've clogged my drain several times with all of the hair that is falling out. And I too have found a strand tied precariously around DD's little finger. Hopefully it will slow down...at some point??:

My hair just started falling out today, Lainey's 3 month birthday . This is my least favorite part of pregnancy and post pardum. Thank goodness I have thick hair, otherwise I think I would be bald after a few days of this:
