Baby Athena has arrived!

She arrived early this AM at 4:54. We had a lovely home waterbirth. My older DD was there and cut the cord. We are blessed with a big (9lb 11 oz) healthy baby and we are already in love.

The birth went well, the only strange thing was that I had to squat to make the contractions come, they didn't come on their own. I am very tired now LOL this is my biggest newborn!

It feels so wonderful to be nursing a newborn again

Was it that way for the whole labor-- having to squat to make ctx come?
