ugh! neighbors and fertilizers!

what should i do? one neighbor used trugreen chemlawn last year. the other neighbor just fertilized on her own. her backyard, which has NO grass, is covered in seed and little white pellets. i gave her a thing on organic lawn care last year AT HER REQUEST...and now, her kids are running barefoot through fertilizer. makes me sad to go in my own backyard. my only solace is that maybe, just maybe, all those worms and goodies will find refuge in our yard.

what can i do? nothing?

If you find a good solution, please let me know. I think we are the only family in our neighborhood who doesn't use Chemlawn or some other lawn poisoning company. Blech! The people who poison my neighbor's lawn always end up doing half of ours as well, even though we've complained a blue streak. My one neighbor has MS that seems to flare up in the summer and I can't help but wonder if it isn't all the toxins she has sprayed all over.

well, my dad has ms...its prolly the heat more than anything. BUT, for people with allergies and asthma, the chemicals are worse than the weeds they are killing!
