So ayla never liked the paci.....ooo...kkkk.....i kinda wish she would take it just so i could have some way to sooth her in the car and help her sleep but i can deal.....shes had 3 or 4 bottles in her life so not alot but the last 2 times i have gone out to do something and left her with dad and bottle she hasn't eaten..hungry or not. today she has barely eaten off the left breast. she will pop on and off and when the milk lets down thats about the extent of it. on the right she doesn't do this so its not that shes not hungry or interested in everything else. i CAN"T do this with only one breast and no breaks for a year!!! just a breast/bottle strike for now or am i going to be tethered for a while??

Have you tried getting her to nurse on the left in a different position, like lying down or football (if you can sit somewhere with enough room behind you)? Sounds frustrating, sorry!
Connor took a bottle of bm the first two times we tried, but I worked a half-day on Sunday and he refused to eat the entire time I was gone.
Dh said Connor was perfectly content except when he tried to give him the bottle, then he screamed bloody murder till the offending bottle was taken away. Ds1 would never go anywhere near a bottle either, so I know what you mean about being tethered! Maybe you'll get some better advice from others with different luck...

Wondered if this was any better for you .. trying different positions should make a difference, as that helped? You can also try nursing her on the less-preferred side when she is drowsy and less likely to notice (like during nighttime feedings). Many babies do prefer one breast over the other. There can be variation between the breasts (size, shape of nipple, etc) that makes a dif to baby and we might not even notice. Mine have always preferred the left, I've always thought b/c is it closer to my heart.
You can breastfeed on just one breast, if it came to that (think moms of twins!) but there's no reason to think she'll only nurse on one.
Also check to make sure you have no plugged ducts forming -- any lumps or discomfort for you? A plugged duct can change the taste of your milk (more salty) and she may be giving you an early notice that something is off on that one side.
Anyway, hope y'all are doing ok!

she nursed on the left ok last night but again didn't want that side very much today. i didn't try any other positions cause somehow i wasn't home very much to try laying down and i am horrible with the football hold and couldn't do it at the mom baby group. she doesn't seem very interested in eating much right now unless shes HUNGRY NOW not just yeah i am kinda fussy and it makes me happy kinda hungry.
i don't have any pain in the breast...i had a plugged duct when she was a new little girl so at least i know what it felt like (first time ever!!). i pumped on the left side late afternoon today just to help relieve some pain and make sure i would continue to produce on that side. i got 6 oz!!!
: i have NEVER gotten that much on that side!! its the lesser "loved" side..smaller, less producing, quicker eats etc. i asked a postpartum doula at my the mom/baby group and she said it could be cause that ear hurts, her teeth on that side are coming in or moving or something like that. her ear isn't red but we haven't been to the doctor since 2 weeks so i guess we should get her checked out as soon as i can....still have to add her to our insurance but i am not sure i can do it and dh is working hella shifts.
:
urgh and ikeep forgetting to ask about LLL!! i am loosing my mind (along with my hair!!

topsy turvy?
If it's her ear, would switchign poistions help? When I want to nurse and keep the kid on the inside of the bed, I'll swap my feet and head to let the kid get to the other side without moving from the inside of the bed. Then your daughter can be in her preferred position, even if you are "upside down".

yeah that might work. she is doing better now and takes a full feed so it was about 2ish days of not likeing that side. haven't tried a bottle or anything though but i hope she will take that. i am not sure what it was that was bothering her but it seems to be over. thanks for the advice!!
