I never posted here lol always was going to but with so many other boards in on I forgot.
Anywho LilyAna was born at 36.6w although for some reason they had 2 due dates for me so they are unsure of her actual edd,I just stuck with what I was told.
For the most part did ok.Her blood sugar levels were extremly low due to me being diabetic .
She weighed 8lbs and was 19 1/2 inches
I had mild contractions thru out the night of the 28th nothing that made me concerned scince I was always contracting.I slept all night without waking up to potty that was odd cuz I get up every 2hrs to potty and this time nothing.
Woke up at 7:30 got 2 of the kids dressed and off to school.Went back to sleep.In the time I wa sup not one contraction,no funny feeling nothing.
I went back to sleep at 8 and woke up at 9:30 and knew immidiently she was comming like soon.
I yelled at hubbie who was on the couch(I toss and turn all night he has been sleeping there cuz I woke him up alot lol)
I said GET OLIVIA UP WE ARE GOING TO HOSPITAL NOW!!!!!!!!!!
He knew I meant buisness cuz when I had last baby I had her like 30 min afte rgetting to the hospital.
I had mabey 2 contractions while I was getting my 2 yr old dressed and doing her hair,I called OB while I was getting her dressed left message said im going to L&D now meet me there.
I couldnt find my shoes was getting pissed lol had 2 more contractions while searching for them.Finally I found them.Get in the truck and had 3 more contractions on the way to the hospital.
Now remind you I woke up at 9:30 by the time I got to the hospital it had only been 15min from waking up.I can haul my preggo butt when I need too.LOL I litterly jumped off the truck and walked so fast to the l&d cuz I did nopt want to have a contraction while out in the parking lot or hallways cuz there were workmen plastering the hospital outside and inside lol I did not want to scare them cuz my contractions were realllly painful and hard.
Get into the ward and immidently had another contraction.Nurse said OK YA YOUR GOING TO HAVE A BABY.
NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA REALLY WHAT GAVE YU THAT IDEA??
Anyways I get into the room had 1 more contraction and man they were getting worse.So I tore off my pants cuz I knew fom last time she was going to be there asap.
Between getting there and having Lily I had mabey I count 10 more contractions.The last 5 I pushed thru cuz it was the only way to get some kind of reliefe barely any but it helped me from really not freaking out like last time.Nurse checked me as soon as I laid down and said YA SHES ABOUT 8-9 BULDGING BAG
I looked at her and said OH SHUT UP!! lol I thought she was joking but she wasn't.
Now this labor was so fast and furiuous just like last time but somehow I managed not to freak out and cry.I did scream bloody murder,they sent hubbie out into waiting room cuz we had the other 2 girls with us and they did not want them scared to dealth LOL
So he leaves TO MCDONALDS hello im in labor about to have the baby and he leaves????I did not know he did till 20min after I had the baby.
Basically my labor was 30min long if I count fromt he time I woke up even though I did not have a contraction then,it wasnt till 3min later that I did.
I told the nurse she was comming and she said no she isnt yur only 8-9 I said NO SHE IS COOOOOOMMMMIIIINNNNGGGGGG and with 2 pushes she was out.
Nurse made it to the bed in the nick of time and caught her with one hand.
So I wake up at 9:30,get to hospital 9:45 and had her at 10 fastes labor yet but still hurt like a MOFO.When my placenta was comming out it really hurt almost felt like being in labor again I had to actually push it out and when I did LOL it came shooting out and landed in my ob's lap I wanted to laugh so bad but all icould do was lay back and sigh with reliefe it was finally all over.
All the nurses were talking abou tmy labor it was so funny,they all came in to check on me on every shift.Too funny.Lily is doing well,only had to stay an extra day after I left cuz she started to breath too fast.
Nursing is a bit of a struggle right now she gets so upset and cannot latch on so I am constantly switching sides and sometimes it helps and other times she is just so upset I finally give up and make her a small bottle.I know I shouldn't but I only have so much patience and with 5 other kids running around and things I need to get done I just give her one.I let her sleep a while,I will pump a little bit and then wake her up after an hour or 2 and ty nursing again.
I really thought one more kid was not going to be a big deal but OMG its way more than I expected.It now takes like well over an hour to leave the house cuz I have to nurse her on one side,then get her dressed and then nurse her on the other side and change her diaper one more time then we can leave .
She is a pretty good sleeper at times.But we will see how she does.Well I better get going it is now 1am and I have to get up ay 7:30 to get the kids ready for shcool.
