I think this may be it...

I believe my contractions have started sometime are 3:40, then 4:40, then 5:10, and again 5:40...the last one woke me up...I hope this isn't BHC.

When I woke up at 3:30ish I felt crampy and then I felt this wave of heat or tightness move across belly. I am hopeful this is the real thing and not a false alarm. (Would love to know from veterans if that is what a contraction feels like in the early stages)

Yesterday I had my checkup and I was the same as I had been for 3 weeks...a fingertip dilated and 60-70% effaced...I came home very discouraged.

I had a long talk with baby Jack last night about being ready for him to be born and I think it may have worked...I hope he is coming today.

So pray for us that this is it and all will be peaceful and smooth and we both are healthy in the end. If you also add in there to give me the strength and confidence to this naturally w/o falling apart, I can use all the support I can get.

Ooh...6:07 I think that was another real one...

I will keep you posted...

I hope this is it for you! I've been having those feelings for weeks, but that's because I've already done this once I suppose (I feel everything more pronounced than I did the first time). Labor was much more cut and dry for me the first time around. Keep us updated! I bet we'll be hearing your birth story soon.

Do real contractions always have to move across you whole belly or can they just be low? I'm becoming a doubter...I hope this isn't BHC...I need to keep better time to see if there is a real pattern here. What I do know is that I am having feelings I never experienced before...I need an owner's manual!

Also, there was a little bloody mucus when I wiped earlier...very little but that was new...

Do you think my body is faking it or is this really happening?

Also, do you have to have lower back pain for it to be real?

Yay mama! Hoping for an update! Maybe that full moon worked its magic!

Sometimes the only way to know if it's "real" or not is in hindsight! But if someone called me and told me those symptoms, I'd be inclined to tell them it sounds like it might be early labor because of the bloody mucus. That is a great sign that those contractions are doing something.

I hope it is it for you!

The bloody show is a good sign. Hoping this is it for you!

The bloody show could be a good sign, or it could be a result of the vaginal exam.

However, I'm hoping this is it for you!!!

Everyone's labor is different! You just have to wait and see!
Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

My last labor, I figured out they were "real" only b/c they continued in regularity AND they started in my lower back and spread around. But - I hope this is it for you and am also wishing you ELV!!!
