I said not very active and past due date because by the time I was about 8 months preg I did not feel sexy anymore.

BUT I did go into labor about 10 hours after sex so...

I had Ina May's advice in mind and I think it helped.

I wasn't very active during my pregnancy but we tried to "induce" labor by having sex after I was five days postdue. It worked and my water broke and I went into labor about 2 hours after we had sex.
