2WW... anyone else?? - Page 6

Congrats Mommysusie!!! I'm so excited for you!

I understand the BD can be a job thing....well, I'm having a blast, but the pressure can be a bit much for DH. Really, there is no "pressure"...he just feels like there is. Wish I could help him feel better about it.

On the wait front, I'm only 4 DPO and I'm already tired of waiting...and this is only our first month. Oh well, christmas is only weeks away. Wonder if I'll make it till Christmas Morning...that's the day AF is due.

PotterGrrl, I would try not to stress too much about your recent temps. I looks like you still might have a ways to go before you'll know if anything is up. But I know how you feel!! All it takes it one wayward temp to put me in a snarky mood.

amberbella, I'm 3DPO, we can wait together! Are you planning to test or are you just going to wait it out?

I can tell you that this TWW is not bad for me. Here's why: Normally the TWW lasts forever and normally the two weeks before Christmas go by in a flash, therefore this TWW seems to be going at an average speed for me. And I also realize that I have to get a whole bunch of gifts very soon!

PotterGrrl: Sorry about the temp drop.

I think since this is our first try I'm going to test every other day starting from 10DPO ...I think I would like to know if I encounter a chemical pregnancy early on. I have some cheapie tests from on-line and will probably use them and, if AF doesnt show by Christmas, I'll take a fancier test Christmas morn.

What do you think...good idea or no?

Wow. I can imagine that you went through a lot!

I woke at 4.30 and temped and then went back to sleep and had weird temping dreams where teh thermometer was all surreal and stretched out like melting plastic and I couldn't find the end to put under my tongue and then the result numbers kept changing before I could read them. Anyone else ever have a temping dream? That was my second.

The thing that sucks the most for me about IF is the combination of feeling completely helpless and completely responsible. There is so much information and medical technology and it feels like if I just absorb and act on enough of it, I have to get pregnant, and then, when I don't, I feel like there's something wrong with me.

Thanks Mammamia and flapjack, for the info on EDD. I'd heard some about that, and have wondered about pushing the dates a little, especially given my age, and the fact that I'll be considered high risk because of it, no matter how healthy I am. Should I ever manage to get pregnant that is : !

Sorry for the rainy rant. I think I'll go stalk charts and see if I can find anyone who got pregnant with this kind of dip .
I have had temping dreams. Mostly because I have fallen asleep with a thermometer in my mouth and I'm trying to wake myself up! But yeah, I have had them.

I totally understand about the catch 22 of IF.

I'm so with you on this one, albeit perhaps a bit premature since I just started progesterone creme, which is what totally threw me for a loop in my last cycle.

It seems like this Christmas would be so sad and pathetic if I didn't have the possibility of spending it with Maybe Baby and yet it will cross the line into the surreal and slapstick if I spend it with instead.

Is it too late to join? I'm on CD 10 (1st time charting in almost 4 years) and my temp went down slightly today. I'm not sure what that means, but I hope they stay up tomorrow.

Since this is my 1st 2ww (because I really dont know when and if I ovulated in the past) when do you think I should start testing? I'm thinking cd 14 if AF doesnt come, but I dont know if I can wait that long.

I remember that when I read your post about your kids being with you ex on Christmas you said that you may be able to spend Christmas with your "Maybe Baby." I was thinking that would be a wonderful, peaceful Christmas (a lot more peaceful than any of my family Christmases). I hope you get that for Christmas.

In the midst of my 2ww; on day 8 and will be testing this Saturday. And every day thereafter until I get a BFP or AF
post #111 of 226
I'm 5 DPO, anxiously waiting. AF is due the 23rd, but I'll probably start testing on the 19th. I'm thinking if it's negative, it'll give me a bit of time to get over the sadness before Christmas.

Noordinaryspider, I'm missing two of my kids on Xmas too. Big hugs to you.

I'm giving up hope and going back to temping and charting. 16dpo, no period, another bfn. The only assumption I can come to is that I didn't ovulate when I thought I did and my body is so screwed that I haven't tried to ovulate again since- I haven't even got as far as sticky. I'm trying really hard to be zen about it, but this is so weird.

My cervix is higher and harder than ever and I'm still getting bfns. I have more pregnancy symptoms than AF symptoms or even ambiguous symptoms. Psychological pregnancy?

We're testing buddies! Good luck to us both.

just checking in...

11dpo here and a bfn. : I didn't get a bfp w/ dd until 13 dpo and even then it was super faint. So I know I shouldn't let the bfn this morning bother me but it still does. I hate how a bfn is so open ended... I've been sick : : so I can't tell whether to attribute the sore breasts, nausea, and heartburn to that of possible preg. My cervix is still high and not quite soft or firm... it never dropped after O...hmm any ideas on that?
I'm 12 dpo and yesterday I had a temp drop with spotting and cramping. Today they are tentatively gone and my temp is back up.
The only difference in how I'm feeling is I'm feeling really warm. I'm not sick but I feel like I'm battling a fever.

KittyKat- implantation dip?
Thats what I was thinking.
amberbella, I think your testing schedule sounds fine. I kind of feel the same way after having a miscarriage. I'd like to know if I have another early loss... though hopefully neither of us will have to deal with that!

barose, nice chart! I think you could reliably test around 12DPO, but if you feel better waiting til 14, then go for it.

Mamma Mia, how many DPO are you?

I'm only 4 DPO but my temps are shooting straight up, it's so weird!

Implantation dip? Me?
*sticks fingers in ears and wiggles*
La La La I can't ear you.
I'm sure it's just some exotic Rain Forest Virus.
