errr? Contractions, or something else?

I feel quite silly with my question - but oh well...

The last week I've been having low dull period like pain, a little bit more of a backache, and in the evenings (mostly) I'll start having some definite contractions. They've mostly been low and not painful, not even quite uncomfortable really, just there. Never a pattern to them.

In the last 30 minutes or so I've started having a pain that starts ever so slightly below my belly button and radiates out. It's not horrible, but stronger than anything I've felt thus far. I've had maybe 4 of them? It seems too high to be a contraction....but?

Well...you'll feel contractions up there.

Sounds real to me. They don't feel too intense at first

IA, it sounds like it could be a contraction. The early ones aren't bad at all.
