My water broke with DD at 2pm--stupidly I went to the hospital where various events happened including pit, epidural, c-sec finally ending in general anesthesia (due to epidural window). She was born at 4:30am.

DS was born at home at 10:30am (water artificially ruptured by midwife at about 12am).

All my children were born at different times (4pm, 7:30am, and about 1:30?pm) but every single one of my labors started around 4:45 in the morning. My last labor started about 15 minutes late at 5am.

Both times it was in the morning, after the sun had come up after a long hard night of labor.

Both of my labors started in the evening and went through the night. DS1 was born at 12noon and DS2 was born at 6am.

I like the middle of the night births. I am a night owl anyway!

I wonder what the difference is between induced and spontaneous births?

Mine:

#1 5:30 am after 56 hours labor
#2 3:30 pm after 14 hours labor
#3 1:30 am after 32 hours labor
#4 6:00 am after 13 hours labor

I have the same curiosity. would like to see that broken down as well.

I've had two day labor/births. I guess I subconsciously prefer that. One birth was at 10:05am (Ds) and the other at 6:10pm (Dd).

I have had one of each.

DD1 12:08 PM
DD2 7:14 PM
DD3 4:54 AM

#1 - 2:05pm (labor began at midnight)
#2 - 11:08pm (labor began around 9:30pm)
#3 - 11:05am (labor began at 3:30am)

I think the theory holds true more for when labor began than when the birth actually occured.

I think a lot of women go into labour in the middle of the night. When the baby actually pops out is another story.

I went into labour with both my boys in the middle of the night. The first was born just after midnight the next day, the second was born around 1 in the afternoon.

I woke up in labor at 4AM, but didn't deliver until 8:54 that night.

ds - went into labour mid morning, he was born at 3:14 in the afternoon
dd1 - went into labour at 1:45 a.m., she was born at 2:55 a.m.
dd2 - went into labour mid morning, she was born at 5:11 p.m.

I don't think I had even close to 24 hours of labour with all 3 children combined and I think the three gave me a total of 20 minutes of pushing - but the difficult pregnancies made up for the fast labours. I would give birth again in an instant, but you couldn't convince to go through another pregnancy for anything - not even another beautiful baby

I went into labor in the evening, got to the hospital at midnight, and had dd at 9:15am. I really struggled overnight, especially being in the hopsital. As soon as the sun came up I felt much calmer and I think my body relaxed and things went really quickly. I guess I'm a good day-laborer.

My water broke on it's own around 8am on a Monday and labor contractions started around 5pm that evening and then picked up around 8pm. I went to the hospital around midnight Monday night/Tuesday morning. DD was born via c/s a little before 4pm Tuesday afternoon.

So I guess I could have checked off most of the boxes on the survey!
