I recently found a picture people coupon for a free 10x13 Portrait, do I have to purchase a package to use this coupon or can I just go in and get a picture for free?

From picturepeople.com:
Free Portrait Offer - Offer valid only for color portraits, 10x13 and smaller. Not valid on existing orders or reprints. Offer valid in-studio only. Coupon cannot be used in combination with this or any other offer and must be presented at time of sitting/purchase. Limit one coupon redemption (this or similar offer) per person (individually and/or as part of a family/group) and limit one offer per family/group during event period dates (11/01/06 - 12/24/06). Offer expires 12/24/06.
So, I think you have to buy a package and can't just get a free picture. If they have a studio near you, you could try to call them and clarify. In my experience, they do great work, though.

I didn't have to purchase any pictures when I took my son there with a similar coupon. Of course they try their hardest to pressure you into purchasing more pictures, but I walked out with my free 8x10 and nothing else.

My mom is a professional photographer and takes all of our kids pictures for free
BUT I did get the same type of coupon from the Picture People, and it was for a free 11X13. I took my dd in for a X~Mas picture a few years ago, and NO I didn't have to purchace other pictures, but like a previous poster said, they try their hardest to get you to buy a package, and the kinda pressure you, but I just told them I'd think about it and come back if I decided to get the package. I walked out with my free picture and never did go back
But def read the fine printm it should tell you if you have to purchace anything else to get the free picture!

I'm pretty sure you can just get the free portrait, but you will be really tempted to at least get a sheet of portrait sized photos to give to people.
I had them offer me a free portrait in person once. We posed for the picture but they didn't give us a choice of which one to get (though they did pick a nice one). This wasn't a coupon offer, though, just them trying to pick up new business.

I get these coupons all the time. We've used 3 so far and will be using a 4th in a week. We only get the free photo and that's it.

I have gotten those and you do have to pay a sitting fee unless it says free sitting fee also (Which I have gotten those too). It takes alot of will power on my part but I have over the last few years just got the free picture.

We always go in just for the free pictures and leave w/ the free one and nothing else most of the time (except for a few times that I REALLY liked some others, but we paid for the portrait club which enabled us to get even more free prints so it worked out cheap lol).

Do you have a JCPenney's nearby? They also have lots of coupons. I get a ton of pictures for $7.99. I believe the sitting fee is $9.99, but they often have coupons for a free sitting fee too. Just another thing to consider.
If anyone wants this free picture people 11X13 coupon just click http://www.picturepeople.com/promoti...007/CDPQR.html
and print and take it to the store.
