Little pains in pelvic area advice

I've been having pain sort of in my "inner hip" I suppose, I don't know how else to explain it. Only when I stand or walk. At the worst, when I walk it feels like I'm being kicked in the crotch. This morning I got out of bed and hit the floor because it hurt so suddenly and so bad. That's not what I'm worried about. I've always had back/hip pain, just not there. I went to the chiro for that today and she helped a little.

Now, however, every 10 or so minutes I get a fleeting pain across my uterus-y area (gosh I need an anatomy class). It's in the same place as menstrual cramps but feels sharper and just different. A few days ago I was having mild cramps that actually felt like cramps but they went away. I'm debating calling the family birth center because I think they'll just tell me to go in to get checked. I'm not going to pull DH out of work to go to the ER attached to our hospital of choice 30 miles away. I'll walk across the street to the local hospital if I have to but I really don't want to. I don't want some doctor I don't know to poke around in there and tell me everything's fine. I know things are growing, changing, stretching, etc down there, plus there's the leg pain and I'm really thinking it might be related to that. Should I call? Just go in? Wait and see? I actually haven't felt one in a while.

Sounds like what I have been having. I have had the SPD stuff but the cramping is new to me with this pg, I think. I am not worried about it though and wouldn't be unless I was in some real pain for awhile or was bleeding or something. But that is just me. I am an underreactor if there is such a word!

It's really really normal. Noone's going to be able to help you if you get it checked out.

What i have noticed that's helped is sitting on the floor, back straight, legs bent and feet meeting. Then gently push your kness to the floor. Keep bringing your feet closer and closer to your crotch and getting those knees to the floor. It stretched the painful area out and helps loosen up the tightness that is happening.
I just started doing this and while noticing improvements right away, I have yet to make it totally go away. But I'm optimistic, darn it!
Good luck.
