I really like Indie, too. (which would break our 4 letter rule, but not by much ) My hubby isn't so sure though and my MIL really didn't like it!

I did not realize Iris was becoming popular. That was DD"s birthname, I thought it was a little odd. I really like Brona, Elsa, Isabelle.

Really? What boys names have you found that you like? I've only found 2 so far that I like (neither of them being the one dp is practically insisting on) for a boy ... I had pages of girls names before he deleted most of them!

I posted a few of mine (that I don't plan to use) in the other girls name thread.

My daughters name is kaya rain (pronounced ki-ya, like pp). If I had it to do over again, I would change the spelling to kiya rain. People have trouble pronouncing it the right way and call her kay-ya.

I'm also in love with Lily and Anna

Well, if my first had been a girl, he was going to be called "Kali".

That's really all I have to offer for four letter girl names, almost everything else I"ve ever considered has been listed!

I can't think of any that haven't already been given. Most of my girl names are long.

I too like the Asia it has a lovely ring to it. I think that is my favorite on the list but there are some great ideas.

I like Iris too.

Two syllables is fine. Our last name has 3 syllables, which isn't too many, it's just a rather pretty flowery and unusual name on its own, so we like to keep things a bit simple for their first names.

I love Edie. My aunt is named Ione, except she pronounces it eye-own. I should call her and pronounce it AYE-uh-nee. She'd think I'd gone : ! I've always thought it a pretty name, though, and she's never liked it.
