Waddle, Waddle, Waddle

I seriously feel like this kid is going to fall out!! I'm sure I look pretty odd these days because I KNOW I'm waddling around, but I can't help it!! The pressure, stabbing pains in my cervix, etc. make it really hard to walk normally... that's for sure.

I had an appointment with my OB yesterday and I'm 4cm dilated and 80-85% effaced. She said my water is bulging quite a bit. So now I'm a walking time-bomb - waiting for real contractions to start (not this stupid false/prodromal labor) and/or my water to break.

My poor mother calls me every morning to see if anything is happening yet. She wants so badly to be at her grandson's birth, but if I go into labor when she is at work, she has to call someone in, wait for them to get there, and then drive for almost an hour to get home. Due to family history of precipitous labor, she's afraid she won't make it in time. She's just so funny - 5 children... and you'd think she'd realize that I can't predict when I'm going to go into labor and/or when my water will break. It's just going to happen!

I've decided this little guy's theme song is "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by The Clash!
