Needing to pee= braxton hicks

Thread Starter
Every time I have to pee the braxton hicks start coming- and it makes it so incredibly uncomfortable- it makes it hard to even walk to the bathroom! And of course since I have to pee all the time, it happens all the time. Especially while out in public, for some reason.
Any one else have this problem? Why is it? Does a full bladder irritate the uterus or something?

I don't know why it happens but it is very annoying, I will wake up in the middle of the night with a rock for a belly but am very relieved after I've peed!

You may want to get checked for a UTI. I was having symptoms like that and got checked. I did have a pretty sever UTI with no other real symptoms. Now that I've started curing the UTI it has stopped.

Oh, definitely! I feel much more comfortable after emptying the bladder. Until I do, it feels "tight" down in my belly, and quite uncomfortable.

Not in your DDC, but this has happened to me both pregnancies. It is so uncomfortable.
