GBS +, is there something I should know?

I'm 38w and I tested pos for GBS (as reference, I did have an infection in the vagina a couple of weeks ago). I talked to my mw today about retesting and she said even if I came positive this time they will recomend antibiotics. I even talked to one of the doulas in town and she said that they will treat me as GBS+ even if I came back negative for the retest.

I asked about the possibility of getting the antibiotics IM instead of IV, and both of them (midwife and doula) said that they won't do it.

So here I am freaking out, because I don't know what to do. I don't want the antibiotics but I don't want to run the risk. I'm also afraid that if I go to the hospital to get the antibiotics I'll be more likely to end up in a c-sec. As I mentioned I did had vaginitis about 5 or 7 weeks ago and I did took antibiotics to get rid of them. I did got rid of them (I know cause the smell went away), but now the smell is comming back again (not as strong), so I don't know if that is an indication of infection.

I'm currently taking acidophilus and yogurth, I read about the garlic and propolis but I don't know if I will have enough time get rid of the strep.

Do you have any recomendations? How likely is it to pass the strep into my baby, and do you think I should be concerned about the smell that I'm noticing?
