Hello! As my friend/doula posted yesterday, we had our beautiful baby girl at home at 1:41pm. Contractions started at 2:51am and I pushed for 1.5 hours...it was a classic textbook labor and I couldn't have asked for anything else. It was truly a great experience.
She was 8lbs 14 oz- a little bit of light brown hair, and a cute squishy little face. She's nursing like a champ.
Thanks for all of your words and support! I hope to post pics soon and a birth story.
Rachelle
Edited to say: She was completely OA- no posterior baby here! No back labor and she came out looking down. So either the midwife was wrong about her position or she really did flip from all that hands/knees work!
