Good Book
A few pages

back, some of us were talking about being PG and all our fears. I found a book recommended somewhere (here maybe?) called "Fearless Pregnancy: Wisdom and Reassurance from a Doctor, a Midwife, and a Mom." I bought it from amazon for $2.99 although the price has gone back up to $10.95 now

I started (and finished it) over this weekend, and I like it better than both the "Hello My Name is Mommy" and "Girlfriend's Guide" books I've read. I really really liked the fact that they included a midwife in the authoring. It's still pretty mainstream, but it is friendly towards those who decide to do home births and no vax, and it brings up those subjects quite often. And it really does do a good job of calming and addressing common fears. Over and over they say 98% of pregnancies go well, instead of focusing on the 2% that don't. I think the best take away from the book though is that they while you can do lots of good things for your baby, that should anything bad happen, it's not your fault.
Anyway, it's a good read, especially if you get a deal on it!
