My little girl, Ivy, arrived at 11:40am on 12/5, after a 3.5 hour labor. I was induced with pitocin, as I had reached 42 weeks. Having been scared of having pitocin again (a very hard induction at 39 weeks with my son) this was a breeze - labor was short, intense and I pushed her out over 4 contractions. I credit my RRL tea drinking for some of the brevity.
She is just beautiful, nursing her has been a breeze, and we are home settling into life as a family of four.
DUH - I'm editing to add she was 9lbs even, and 21 inches long - a good sized babe, which we expected, as she'd been cookin' so long!
