No other real symptoms yet, except I'm freakin' STARVING. I could eat two more meals a day.

Sounds like TONS of fun

Knock on wood no nausea here. A couple of times of food not sounding good, but I was fine once I started eating....

Yes! Very hungry... even right now

What's the rule of thumb on how many extra calories we need to consume? Also, how much water should we be drinking? I heard it was more than average.

Ah yes the Hunger. Thats what I call it. It hits anytime and anywhere and even after you just ate an hour ago.

I have snakes around I can grab fast like nuts, carrots and grapes. To stave it off till I can make a good meal.

mmmm... snakes, I hear they taste like chicken

I don't count calories, I eat healthy food when I'm hungry and drink plenty of water.

:

Let's put it this way.

If it sits still long enough, I'll eat it.

I'm not UNcomfortable with food, but I feel REALLY full right after I ate. Even if it wasn't enough to make me really full... but that's been going on since a week before the positive test.

sigh.

Yep me too. I'm surprised, because with ds I was nauseous by now, and constantly for 7 wks, surviving on cereal, fruit and yogurt. The sight, smell or even thought of meat turned my stomach. This time, I'm eating everything and just grazing all day long. And I have the full feeling too, I have to unbutton my pants every time I eat! And I'm so thirsty........... this is what pregnancy and nursing is like.........

Yep starving here, too. Doesn't matter how much I eat, I'm hungry 2 hours later.

2 hours?
you can go that long?!

i have literally been eating all day and dont feel satisfied.
yeah, 2 hours is a stretch for me, too, but it seems to depend on the day. some days I pee every 20 minutes, some days I'm too tired to talk by 3pm, some days I can't eat a damned thing, some days food actually sounds good (so rare!), some days I need to eat almost constantly and other days I can go 2-3 hours without even thinking about food. nothing makes sense anymore -- it's different everyday.

*looks at clock*
yup, it's been two hours, and I'm hungry now.

Usally I am starving when I wake up. This morning nothing but I ate before I went to bed last night. V8 and ritz peanutbutter sandwhiches. Seems to have done the trick.

Snakes I also have but I do not eat them I always make that spelling mistake and never catch it.:

Tamara
ah starting to feel the Hunger.

I went from starving and eating down the house to major food aversion. Dp gets offended when I choose Subway over his home cooked meal, because its the only thing that sounds ok to eat at the time : It really is like going back to childhood, not wanting to eat certain things because they sound "icky". Lol, and I just hear my mom in Dp's voice "But you *always* like that!!" Well not right now I dont, lol.

That said, my nausea isn't nearly as bad as it was with ds1, I haven't even puked once yet (ahh! knock on wood!!). But I think I can attribute that to the : I've been vaporizing. It does WONDERS on my appetite and peace of mind. Brings me back to balance.

Well, for now I can go that long. We'll see how long it lasts!

Michelle, my sis has a vaporizer, i've been wondering about asking her to use it. it helps alot then?
cause i am either STARVING, or wanting to puke, or both.
