had my 37 week appointment!!

NOthing special, starting at 34 weeks here they monitor the babys heart and u for contractions for half an hr . i had 2 contractions that i felt at the appointment i dunno if it picked up more then that. but up until 3pm i was having mild uncomfy contractions . they didnt check my cervix again. it makes no sense . they checked it at 17 weeks onward at every appointment, that is when i started seeing a dr here in germany i saw one in fla before i moved as well. i just dont get why they would check it at earlier appointments but near the end they just stop. my friend had hers checked at 36 weeks here but then again her dr was a guy lmao so go figure. they did the ultrasound as usual still head down, the estimated weight is about 6lbs 5oz right now i go again dec 15th
right now my rib hurts on my right side, ive had a cold all week and it hurts when i cough but it also hurts just sitting here ithink maybe shes mushed up into my ribs lol but it isnt very comfortable at all .
and the feeling naousous every morning isnt fun either, but im almost to the end hopefully shes here soon.

Sounds like prenatal care is quite different there, interesting. It is strange that they would check you in the middle of your pregnancy, but not towards the end? I know that here sometimes they check you the last few weeks, where others prefer not to "mess with things" before 38 or more weeks. Good luck!
