Money Programs

Thread Starter
I have been keeping a "checkbook" of sorts on a spreadsheet but for the new year I'd like to upgrade to something a little fancier.

Anyone have any recommendations on computer programs for keeping my bills straight. I do most of my banking online but I pay some manually while others are automatically deducted. Some are paid monthly while others quarterly, etc. I used to use Quicken but don't have it anymore. Anyone have any recommendations?

i just got quicken, which seemed more highly rated than ms money. i also like that it's integrated with turbotax, which we've used for years. i don't have enough experience using it to give an actual review, though.

We use mvelopes. It's online and you pay a monthly fee. Prior to that, I used quicken religiously for MANY years. Quicken has much more functionality, but never seemed to help us to actually stay within our budget. Mvelopes uses the envelope budgeting system, and keeps everything updated online all the time, so both DH and I can easily check it at any time. Anyway, it works well for us and we find that it saves us a lot of money each month.
