Need to find a good place to buy fleece

I want to sell fleece wraps as a hobby to spead babywearing awearness around here, and see how it does, I might make it into a small business locally. Anyways I bought fleece for $5/meter at walmart, but their fabric colors are inconsistant and the prices for the color that they always have in stock is almost double. The few other fabric stores I've checked out have cheaper fleece but it isn't as soft and is usually thicker, and the colors are icky. I'm weary of buying fleece on the internet because I can't feel it and don't know it's quality or if it is what I want. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Malden Mills makes Polartek. Their fleece is wonderful and you can buy remnants which are perfect for dipes, soakers and mamapads.

you could also try joannes. they frequently have sales on their fleece, like 50% off, or you could use the 40%off coupons they send out every week. IT's not as nice as malden mills, but I think it's better then walmart fleece and the price is comperable or even cheaper if they are having a sale.

Does joannes have a website? We don't have one here.

They do. http://www.joann.com/
I've never used it except to check for sales, 'cause we have one really close.

Sometimes it's cheaper to buy fleece blankets and throws than fleece yardage.

I'm actually quite put out with our local Hancock's b/c from July until April it seems all they have is fleece...very little in the way of other clothing fabric. Anywho, they are always running sales on the various brands of fleece. Oh, and Hobby Lobby, too.

i don't know if they'd be useful for your interests or not, but malden mills also has remnant packages that have an excellent per yard price
