So I lost it this morning. does anyone have any info on what this means as far as how soon baby will come? or is there still just no way to know?
also, is it safe to take baths after losing your plug?
thanks for any info!

Don't know about the baths, but I imagine it would be fine.

I can tell you that two weeks elapsed between losing my plug and having dd. Other friends have lost their plug and had the baby within a couple hours. Which extreme are you hoping for?

honey, it's okay to take a bath even till the baby comes out... water birth and all that! So go soak away. As for how long, it really depends. Was the plug bloody at all? If it was bloody, it generally indicates that you'll go into labor with in a day or two. If it was just a big boogery blob, it can mean weeks or it can mean hours. It can even regenerate itself. But if it was blood streaked that's usually called bloody show and is a sign that labor is imminant.

could be hours, could be days. Don't ya love that? baths are fine though.

Mucous Plug

I lost my plug at 32 weeks, baby came at 36. :

I was never a bath person so I can't address that question.

I dunno.... I think I lost mine last night and have the same questions as you. With DC #1, I lost mine just a little into early labor, and it was bloody. This wasn't bloody- so I guess I just wait some more I really don't remember with the other two... I did go to bed last night waiting for labor to start though LOL
