My baby is sleeping on his own in our bedroom right now and has been happily snoozing for 45 minutes without me. The first day of kindergarten is going to be a real b!tch for me, isn't it?! I know, it's a good thing b/c now I can actually fold that basket of laundry that's been waiting for four days, but... WAH!!! This is the first time in seven weeks he's gone this long without hollering for me. I'm already becoming obsolete!!

I can relate and I feel so foolish! Last night DS hung out by himself in his room in his crib, totally content, for 20 minutes. I was actually able to eat dinner with DH. But it was so strange to be at home and not in the same room as DS!
