Whingari Joy came into the world last night!

Born @ 10:15pm on 12/12/06

8lbs, 1oz.
19 1/2 inches

Oh, and she's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Her name was inspired by Wingari/Wangari Mathaii, an African woman who won the nobel prize for her environmental activism. It's also an aboriginal australian name meaning 'thoughtful.'

It's also a name, as I have now discovered, that is ALMOST as beautiful as my daughter...
