Pertussis While Pregnant?

OK, so I've mentioned before that I'm getting over WC... all is well and good, and I'm not too concerned.

However, I do have a ques: will the baby now be immune to pertussis? I honestly have no clue, and would really like to know.

The baby will get antibodies from you. They will provide a great deal of protection for as long as you breastfeed. That's about the best you can say with pertussis, but it is meaningful.
