December is halfway gone...Who's still hanging in there?

And how are you feeling?

I'm 38w4d.

I'm feeling ok pregnancy-wise. I'm beginning to contract more frequently, and I've been making a point to squat a LOT (even at my desk at work--my chair is a stability ball, so it's easy!) I had a dr appt on Wednesday, and I don't seem terribly close...but then I wasn't when I went into labor with my daughter, either. I'm trying not to be discouraged.

I had an appointment with a chiro, and my back is feeling LOTS better during the daytime. I'm still having an awful time at night, but whaddya gonna do?

I'm REALLY sick, though. I have a *terrible* cough, and my sinuses feel like they're going to explode. If I don't start getting better by the end of the weekend, I think I'm going to have to go ahead and start my maternity leave so I can get some rest.

So, who's left? How are you guys doing?

me at 38w6d. I am not sick yet, but my ds is for the last 3 days and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I did not get whatever he has.

38 weeks 5 days

I am feeling pretty good, achy but alright. I am also getting some strong contractions, nothing regular though. I didn't really have these with my son, so I am hoping that they are going to save some time on the big day I see my midwife Sunday and I am almost curious enough for her to check me, I don't know though. I know it doesn't mean much, I am just curious if these strange feelings in my cervix and the contractions are doing anything. I have tried and can't feel (maybe reach) anything.

I'm still here 38w3d.

I feel anxious, I'm feeling very ready to meet this little person.

Hope all you sick mamas feel better soon, and that those of you with sick one's in the home don't catch anything yourselves. <---the immune boosting fairy

: I'm still here (without a babe in arms ) at 40w1d

I know I am not far over, but I really was hoping the baby was ready before now....oh well....

I had my 40w appt today and the midwife recommended that I eat something that would upset my stomach and have some sex...so those are the plans for tonight and then maybe some acupuncture tomorrow...

I'm still here! :

I'm in the 38 week land... had quite a few mild contractions last night! I have a dr. appt. today, so I can see how productive they were... I go back and forth between wanting my baby now, and wanting for her to be born after christmas... but we'll see!

Hi Mamas!
I'm still here waiting somewhat patiently. I'm due in less than 2 weeks.
I have been having contractions all week, just nothing consistant.
i will see my midwife today and i am so anxious to have her check me out to see if there is any dialation going on. I am hoping for a VBAC!
Take care of yourselves Mamas!
Can't wait to hear some birth stories soon!

I'm here. 40w tomorrow.
The nightly prodromal labors are wearing on me badly, my fuse is so short as to be nonexistant. Lovely combination, hormonal pregnant woman plus no sleep plus irritating dh and toddler screaming and crying for nannies every 5 minutes- I think they have a switch in them that makes them most demanding and needy when I'm least able to deal with it.

Of course, nothing at ALL is happening with all this prodromal stuff, except that I think maybe it's shifting baby into a different position.

Here...and grumpy at 40w6days....I think if ONE more person gives birth before me I might just explode. (I know that sounds snarky but I swear it's not!!! I'm just so READY!) I haven't had ANYTHING fun happen...I'm using Evening Primrose Oil...3 days ago had SERIOUS Indian food, been getting 'deposits' from DH and NO-THING....not even a twinge *sigh* I think I may be pregnant until I die.

38w. 1d. here.
If I've been having contractions I don't know about them. I'm feeling great. occassional achiness, especially upon getting up from sitting or laying down, but not too bad.

Who knows!

Wow Look At All Of Us 38 Weekers. Yes I Am Still Here As Well At 38 Weeks 4 Days About.

40 weeks today.

Tons and tons of contractions with no pattern, no rhyme or reason to them. Mostly just only slightly uncomfortable, every now and again a bit painful. There were so many yesterday and last night I was really hoping to wake up ready to go. *sigh*

Been walking lots, eating tons of spicy food, attacking poor DH , squats, anything I can think of.

I'm with you at 40w6days! It seems like everyone else has had their baby already (yes, I know there's a bunch of you still waiting : ). Earlier this week I had the spotting, mucus, contractions and all, but nothing happened! It fizzled out. I am so bored! I honestly thought baby was going to be a good week early. My midwife came over yesterday and everything looks good. I'm not sure what baby is waiting for! My poor dh is peeking around corners to make sure I'm not there waiting to "jump" him and my boys keep asking me if I need a nap (is that a hint? ). My poor daddy called me at 6am this morning by mistake... I don't think he'll do that again!

39 weeks 5days unless I am wrong by a week which is maddeningly possible. I am so ready.

I'm still here~!!!! 39 weeks 3 days now. Feeling pretty good but sort of tired and cranky and impatient to meet the little one. I don't have my old endurance on daily walks. I did some nesting last week now all I want to do is SLEEP!!

Oh yeah I've also been attacking DH and rolling around on the birth ball.

38w plus change. Physically I've been feeling great until just the past couple of days. Now I'm so achy, and baby hurts me when she moves! Emotionally, I'm a giant grouch. Everyone and everything annoys me! I annoy myself!

I thought I was completely mentally prepared to go to 40 weeks, and beyond if necessary, but I'm sure getting impatient already.

At least I am not sick -- much sympathy to the pg mamas who are!

40wks 1day here with nothing going on. I don't feel like it is going to be anytime soon either.

39+ weeks here. I went to 40-41ish with my last 2. I don't know why I ever even let it cross my mind that I might be able to go before then. Honestly, it's probably from this DDC. I had never met so many mamas that have babies before 40 weeks. Here's to wishful thinking.... :
I am OK pregnancy-wise (OK I have PUPPPS and carpal tunnel in my left hand, I havn't felt my fingertips in a month) but I have a cracked rib from coughing so much from my 3+ weeks cold. :
I am pretty ready to be done, YKWIM? I don't mean to be grumpy, but it's hard to not be. I work one last 12 hour shift at the hospital on Sunday and then GOD FORBID if I am still pregnant next weekend (right before Christmas) I work 2-12 hour shifts. Heaven help my co-workers if I walk onto the floor and they say "We didn't think you would be here today!" :

39 weeks 1 day.
DH is finally off the crutches from his gout attack so that is a good thing. I have been having some major bh and that is about it. Dh told me that I can't say oh god unless it's the real thing anymore. I was 10 days "overdue" with ds so I really don't know if this babe has plans to come anytime in the next week or two. I haven't had an internal so I have no clue if I am dilated at all. The baby has slowed down and I am feeling little pokes and jabs mostly at night when I get comfortable.
