our little girl is a boy!!!!!!!!!!

well ladies, I got up to pee at 1:37 AM and at 4:26 AM, I had the baby! And our little girl was born... with a penis!!!!!!! IT'S A BOY!!! we were shocked, to say the least. He's 8 lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long. The birth was really short and calm, till pushing, then it was wild woman animal pushing. He was born in the caul. I think that was why pushing was so intense. But it all went great. We haven't named him, cause we thought he was a girl and all that. here's a pic http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...y/DSCF1446.jpg
I never had bloody show till he was crowning. My contractions started at two minutes apart and didn't really change till the last five or so. For two contractions I felt him descend into the pelvis, then I pused for three. And that was it.

So cool. Remind us- why did you think he was a girl? In the caul- how special. congrats, and let us know when you pick a name! (I loved the girl name you had picked).

we thought he was a girl cause we had an ultrasound with a guy our midwife uses. He's only been wrong one other time in a 20 year carreer and is rather cocky about it. lol so the midwives are looking forward to giving him hell about it.

CONGRATULATIONS !!!

What a shocker that must have been! That happened to 2 of my sisters, which is why I don't really trust U/S's !
