What are you doing for Christmas present for the new baby?

For those that have already delivered and for those of us still waiting, what are you doing for a Christmas present for your baby? In some ways I figure the baby isn't going to notice getting anything, but I still wanted to do something.

Any ideas? I want to have something wrapped under the tree for this baby...I've never had a baby born so close to Christmas(well the baby isn't born yet, but I'm hopeful he/she will be here before Christmas!! )

We are having a bracelet made for the baby to put in her stocking. I know she won't care, but I figure my boys might notice if santa doesn't include her.

our family has sent presents for baby sister that are under the tree--I think most of them are clothes and stuff... I don't usually get any toys/gifts for baby (we have a ton of baby toys! and they don't really even need them...) until his/her first birthday--and then I get a real special lovey blanket...

But I've been eyeing those haba teethers (the cool wooden ones) and one might be under the tree from the Christ Child .... we'll see!

We bought Ingrid a soft little monkey puppet to put under the tree (we call her "monkey" much of the time). I doubt we will do more, especially since I know that other family will be getting her presents, and obviously she will notice none of this. She just had a baby shower and out of town friends and family have been sending things for her, so it feels a little silly to shower her with more gifts.

I got our baby socks. Boring (although cute!), but I don't have any as the older kids have lost them all.

I got her a stocking with her name on it, and inside will be our membership passes to the aquarium, and some small teething toys. The grandparents have bought her tons of toys and clothes, so she won't even care.

Ok, I'll admit it.....I haven't bought anything for our little man! We have tons of toys left over from dd and my parents are buying him a couple things, so I just didn't see any need. I am working on a really nice Christening outfit for him, so I've been busy trying to do that.

I made our little guy his Christmas stocking while I was still pregnant, so that's his biggest gift from us. We haven't really gotten him anything else because we figured he wouldn't really know the difference, but I know that his grandparents and aunt and uncle have gotten him things, so I don't feel too bad that we didn't get him much. Plus, he got a ton of stuff for the baby showers, so we have plenty of things already!

So far the only thing in the baby's stocking is...a pacifier : I doubt it'll be here by Christmas anyways!

I know it's a little iffy to use a pacifier, but I have my reasons.
