10 days postpartum and in pain

Wyatt was born 10 days ago - I had a few days of really really bad afterpains, but they tapered off around day 6.

I'm still having strong cramping though, especially on my left side, and still bleeding red and what seems like a fair amount.

Am I just overdoing it ? I do have a 2-yr old and a 4-yr old, and DH is back to work.

I would guess that yes, you probably ARE overdoing it. I know I have a tendency to do it too! Does your dh work late? Maybe try to get some rest in once he gets home....obviously it's hard with two other little ones (I know it's hard for me with ONE other little one!), but maybe once he's home he can take over their care and you can sneak some extra rest.

I would check with your midwife or ob, but it sounds like you need to rest more! Don't worry about housework--and try to do stuff with the kids where you can sit on the couch/floor with baby... can someone come over and feed you?

take it easy! you just had a baby 10 days ago!!!!!

Are you running a fever at all? If you are, there may be a chance you could have some retained tissues, or a mild infection, that are contributing to the bleeding.

I am too finding it very hard with a 4.5 and 2.5 yo at home : Hang in there Mama.

Nope - no fever.
