Who else has a sitting-up baby already?

Luna is loving the view of the world she sees when she sits up. Sometimes she uses her hands to brace herself and other times she will sit without support.

Personally, I think that cloth diapers make for a wider, more stable base for sitting.

Sean's been doing the tripod thing for a couple of weeks and today he let go and really sat up. The second he tries to reach for something he goes toppling over. It happens in slow motion, cracks me up.

Wow! I'm so impressed by these August babes! Eloise is no where near sitting up on her own. She even topples if i set her up on the couch!

Nate's been sitting propped since about 4 weeks old. But only in the last few days has he started being able to lean on his arms for maybe 20 seconds before face-planting, tipping over, or trying to stand up and crashing over backwards. He'll occasionally balance without his hands for a few seconds, but I think it's just luck and a cloth-diapered bottom helping him out; the second he starts to put his hands back in his mouth he falls over.

Kienan has been sitting for about 3 weeks now. He can even sit without his arms supporting him but then looses balance and topples it is so cute to watch

elliot does really well sitting propped up in the corner of the chair/sofa and he's getting better about being able to sit on his own for very short periods (10-15 seconds.)

Louis does pretty well sitting up on the floor. After a while though, he'll do a face plant! I try to stay close by! I can't prop him on the couch or chair though because he's too active - he just rolls off of whatever he's propped up on. He really wants to crawl (no, no, please no!), but he can't yet, of course. He does a lot of spinning circles!
