Egg Allergy

Add another allergy to the list. Any advice or links for an egg allergic 10 month old and his poor mother? Are there any mayos that are egg free?

There are soy mayos that are pretty good if you can have soy (I forget, but I think soy is ok for you?) I think it's called Nasoya Nayonaise or something like that. If not, I have a recipe for a bean mayo. I've gotten used to no mayo since Liam has a soy allergy (and I'm allergic to eggs.) I use a lot of mustard and horseradish instead.

My dd has an egg allergy...I have found it is not too bad..there is a egg free canola mayo that I like that i get from Whole Foods...also there is an egg replacement powder from Whole foods in the baking section that you can use to make baked goods-it works really well.

We can't do eggs (one of the 8 things...). Mayo I don't care about since I don't like it. Baking I've found 2 T oil plus some baking powder replaces eggs with no problems in the finished product.

Vegenaise is great, it is egg free, but has soy. It is a traditional mayo whereas nayonnaise is more like miracle whip-tangy. IF you can tolerate soy then vegenaise is a yummy replacement!

You aren't vaxxing are you? IF so the MMR vax is incubated in egg. Avoid it.

firefaery, we are, but if we do the MMR on schedule, it will be at the allergist's office. Otherwise I'm avoiding it until DS gets tested next year.
