Lainey is getting the boppy play mat with those adorable little bug toys. I couldn't resist. She's also getting a bunch of board books and a wooden bowl and spoon from Nova's Naturals.

I got Arienne a Lamaze mirror, a thing called a sensory clutch cube also made by lamaze, an amber teething necklace, a ragdoll type thing called a toddle and some books - Her Dad also got her a heap of stuff like a baby gym...

Since Ginny is child #3 she already has tons of handme down everythings. SO for Christmas we went bananas and bought her the Ann B Dextrous from Discovery Channe; Toys. For the rest of the year she'll have at least one toy her older sibs think is totally awesome and is completely unique to herself. It's pretty mainstream, but I want to do something to mark her gift as really special and 'new', kwim? Since that was so $ we didn't get her anything else but stocking stuffers like a Haba wooden teether and a pair of slippers.

i am not getting ayla anything. we have tons of toys for her to rattle and shake and chew from ethan....well not a ton but heck kids don't play with toys you buy!!

We got dd a wooden rattle, a nonny doll and a baby boo playsilk. all from Nova Naturals!

2 wood rattle/teethers & some odds & ends for his stocking. He really doesn't need anything, but we felt we needed to include him & DS1 will love helping his baby brother open it, & show it to him etc... He just loves his baby brother :

Oh I didn't think of that. I wasn't planning on getting Nadia anything but I bet the older ones would LOVE to help her open things. I'll have to dye some playsilks tonight or something.

I got Arabella a great towel doll from Kathe Kruse. She is so cute with it- just holds onto the cloth all day long. I also bought her this great Kathe Kruse wooden rattle and a beautiful Haba flower rattle- she is gripping everything these days! Check out Oompa.com- they have great european toys and usually have free shipping and great sales.

My DH insisted that we get Nonie a Johnny Jumper and she really loves it! I got her some slippers from the dollar store so that she wouldn't ruin her socks and she bounces and turns in circles some: . Other than that a couple of friends got her a few clothes and a catipillar that plays music. I wanted to get her one of the rattles from Nova Naturals but never got around to it. She isn't holding onto things just yet. I'm glad to hear that other babies didn't get too much either. Both DH and I thought it was weird to buy her a bunch when she has more than enough clothes and isn't really playing with things yet. She does love music though. She will be spoiled soon enough!
