OK... I am ready. I have been having contractions off and on for 22 days now.
My diapers are washed, my baby clothing are washed folded and organized. my bag is packed. my shopping ( grocery and Christmas) is done ...the house is as clean as it gets. DH is on vacation for the next 2 weeks, DS is off of school for the next 2 weeks. I AM READY.
oh and I am 38 weeks with a 9lb 10oz -er inside of me..according to last weeks BPP.... So... any minute now..right?

Another one in the camp of all ready to go!

Contractions for the last 3 1/2 weeks. Now only less then a week to a little over a week to my official "due" date. Baby super low and me already dialated almost to 4 cm.

Sometimes I think I have a cervix made of iron. Or maybe one of those old fashioned chastity belts on that I can't find the key to in order to let the baby out.

I'm ready, but I'm not. I just found out last week that we have to move the first week of January, and I'm due the 27th. Ever since about 30 weeks, when one of my friends had her baby at 37 weeks, I've been thinking, "yeah, it would be nice for the baby to come a little early," but I had a couple bouts of contractions this week, and now I'm afraid I'll go into labor and we'll be in-between being moved in and moved out! Plus, I've got to go to the Health Department for the 36-week risk assessment in order to be able to have my midwife deliver at home, and I'll be 35 wks on Sunday, so I could go in any time after that, but because of the holiday, they're not doing those until the 8th, so I'm afraid if the little guy comes early, I'll have to deliver in the hospital, which I am SO not ready for! But all will be okay... I'm just gonna pray about it.

I'm not quite ready for her yet...but then she's not due till 1/21 or so.

My guess as of tonight is she will make her debut on the 22nd. Why? It's a Monday. All the rest of our birthdays are Mondays in 2007. Daddy wants her to come on *his* b-day, the 15th, also a Monday, but I just don't think she'll show that early.
We'll have to see if I'm right.............

Me too! I've got everything but the contractions and THE BABY!!!! This is the frustrating part - don't ever pray for patience - your prayers will be answered! :

I'm not ready -- we still have some cleaning up and stuff that we're planning to do this week while my in-laws are here to entertain our daughter. I'm definitely not packed. I just prepared a list of important phone numbers minutes ago.

My doctor and I actually had a conversation this past week in which I mentioned that I'd be totally fine with being a week or two late.

As much as I think I am ready, I had a couple serious cx last night that freaked me out! I'ld like to get through the next two weeks, I think, anytime after Jan. 5th or so (we've got Christmas, my sister's birthday, New Years, and my brother's birthday in the next two weeks). What freaks me out though, is the possibility that I could be pregnant for the next 6 weeks!!! I can not be pregnant until February. I must have this baby in January!
