Hannah Elizabeth joined our family last night at 11:58 PM (Missing a Christmas Eve birthday by just 2 minutes!)
I went to the birth center feeling kind of "off" and was well dialated with a bulging water bag, so my midwives, my DH, and I decided to go ahead and let them rupture it. Hannah was born only 3 hours later, crying before her shoulders had even come out!
I lost a bit of blood and needed some stitches because she decided to come out with a hand in front of her face, flying out like superwoman.
We are home now recovering. I will share her birth story once I've gotten some sleep and have gained back the ability to sit on my bum comfortably
