Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had a wonderful day on their babe's first Christmas! Mine was spoiled by my parents and brother. He had his own stocking and a first Christmas outfit with matching bib, socks and soft rattle!

I was very tired from getting home later from our Christmas Eve service last night and getting up early to get us ready to go. I did get a nice three hour nap this afternoon though! That was my best Christmas present (other than my sweet boy).

I have to admit that I got a little teary-eyed last night at the service when my husband (the pastor) talked about how Mary knew that Jesus the newborn would someday die - while holding my not-as-newborn (same happened when I was very pregnant with my son). It really made the holiday more meaningful for me... more personal.
