How much butter is too much?

We just got a few lbs of really good raw butter today... it's so much more delicious than the kind we were getting before. YUM!

So... is there some kind of daily upper limit on how much butter we can eat? I won't mention how much we have eaten already today :

i would think if you were eating and following NT, there would be no upper limit! If you are not following a lowfat type diet, I wouldn't worry about it. The amount you eat will probably take care of itself (too much butter makes me feel gross)

I have found that when I eat too much fat I start to feel ill. I guess I would listen to your body on that one since each of us is so very different...

Hmm my question is...where do you live that you got a few POUNDS of raw butter at once? And may I ask the price?

I pay $7.50 for 8oz of Organic Pastures near Palm Springs, CA at our local HFS. On my way back from the family Christmas gathering in Ventura we stopped by Whole Foods in Van Nuys and they charge $9.99 for the same!

We were buying Organic Pastures before, but I have to say that I really don't like the taste much. We just got some butter from the Millers in Pennsylvania and I like it so much better. It cost us $13 per lb including shipping; we got it through a local group buy so the price we paid might reflect a volume discount (I didn't order it myself). I think their number is 717-556-0672 but if that doesn't work for you, I will ask around.
